What we do

The playscheme is designed to support children in the local area to play and learn in the presence of others in a safe and child-friendly environment. 

It’s all about fun and encouraging the children and young people to learn and develop their skills through playing with others. Many of the activities undertaken encourage learning and creative play.

Each location differs, but we pride ourselves on inspiring children with a mix of activities including: 

  • Creativity and crafts 
  • Performing arts 
  • Team play and puzzles 
  • Sports 
  • Outdoor and indoor games 
  • Dressing up 

December 2024 free family Christmas parties

In December 2024, we delivered 5 free Family Christmas parties in Kingswood Community Centre, Coniston Community Centre (Patchway) and in St Nix’s Family Centre (Yate). There was Christmas music, crafts, party games, party food and lots of fun.

We had 152 different people attended these sessions which was made up of 66 adults and 86 children.
